Park Introduction
The Life Memorial Hall is a green building constructed with the concept of environmental protection and energy saving, which fully shows the design concept that green buildings and the environment should naturally blend in comfort, environmental protection, health and safety. It is also the only model cemetery park in the Dayuan District. It has a memorial hall, a Bagua tower, and a four-sided tomb base. It has both modern environmental protection and the burial tradition of keeping the earth in peace and can satisfy and service the demand of people from all aspects.
The main building base is 16,182 square meters, and the total floor area is 5,224.43 square meters.
The main construction of the building was built by using blue stone, the overall environment is beautiful, the facilities are well planned, and it provides people with solemn repairs to remember the environment of their ancestors.
Looking at it from afar, the appearance is magnificent, and the upper and lower layers in dark and light colors show steady and stability. The traditional ancestral temple brick and tile shape is removed to get rid of the long-lasting impression of people.
From a close-up perspective, the three-dimensional golden memorial font with golden lotus and strong steel-bone lighting hood has both traditional and modern sense; facing two stone lions, guarding the memorial and protecting the heroes of all the ancestors in the building.
Looking inside, entering into the building there is a solemn and compassionate Jizo Bodhisattva, and the embedded lights on both sides reflect the light of the Buddha, which directly makes people feel the compassion and tranquility of the gods. The side-by-side crystal lights are set on the left and right of the hall, making the hall atmosphere softer and warmer, with both brightness and beautiful.
God tablet, on the first floor, is a storage area for the main double hall of the deities. Considering the inconvenience of worshiping ancestors in the living environment of modern society people, and retaining the good folk customs going far and wide, the retrospect storage area is designed with safety and reassuring.
Columbarium, the ashes storage areas on the second, third, and fifth floors, and skeletons storage areas on the sixth and seventh floors; all of which have east, west, south, and north quadrangular orientations, and are designed to meet the needs of numerology feng-shui folk customs. Single cabinet storage configuration, considering the family and the needs of multiple people in the family, designed double, six, eight, ten and other family-style cabinets; also consider non-Buddha, Taoist religious believers, also set up special religion Or a storage area for atheists.
The shrine, the memorial hall is the place where the ancestors' skeletons were stored. The descendants ask the gods to guard the ancestors. Gods and Buddhas are placed on all floors of the building. The memorial is close to the runway of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, which run takeoffs and landings of aircrafts from all over the world day and night. As the flights take off and landing, they also overlook day and night the memorial as such a significant landmark and gorgeous building of classic architect.
Taoyuan Aviation City, the flagship project of Taiwan, is the re-creation of economic momentum. Its hinterland is almost across the Dayuan District. The content of the four prospects for aviation city, “new urban style and lifestyle”, emphasize green, sustainable, resilient, and the smart city is so appropriate that it coincides with the design concept of the memorial hall. The memorial hall continues to maintain tradition and innovative services, treats life with a serious and solemn attitude, creates a sustainable and peaceful place for reflection, and looks forward to the international development of the aviation city.
