1. Authorization Method and Scope
In order to facilitate the public to better utilize the website information, all of Taoyuan City Government and its affiliated institutions publicly posted information and materials protected under copyright provisions may be reauthorized for public use non-exclusively at no charge. The users are not limited to time and by region in reproducing, adapting, editing, publicly transmitting or utilizing it with any other methods to develop various products or services (herein known as derivations). This authorization will not be retracted hereafter, and the users need not to acquire the written or any other forms of this authorization from the administration. However, when using it, the users should state the source.
2. Explanation of Related Matters
(1) The scope of this authorization is only within which is protected under copyright. It does not include the other intellectual property rights, including but not limited to the provision of patents, trademarks, and agency logos.
(2) Whether or not the personal information, made public actively by the said person or legally per laws and regulations, can be collected, processed and used, the users shall follow the related provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act to plan and proceed in corresponding measures as required.
(3) For some of the videos, images, sheet music and contracted case writings or other works, especially stated by the administration, the approval must be duly obtained before they can be used.
3. Care should be taken not to infringe the third person's right to copyright personality (including the right to indicate names and prohibit improper changes).
4. Use of the information and materials provided by this authorization shall not maliciously change the original sorts. If the information is used and shows something not in accordance with the original, the users shall bear civil and criminal legal liabilities.
5. The authorization of this website does not grant users the authority to suggest, recognize or consent the status of their derivatives on behalf of the administration.
